While Arjun Mathur secures nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor category for Made in Heaven, Delhi Crime gets nominated for Best Drama series and Four More Shots Please! is nominated in Best Comedy category at the 2020 International Emmy Awards
Actors Arjun Mathur, Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Bani J, Adil Hussain, are all in a celebratory mode and it has to do with the nomination announcements of the 2020 International Emmy Awards made by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on Thursday (September 24). The nominations are a huge encouragement for Indian content and talent on the OTT platform to be recognised internationally.
While Amazon Prime Video’s Made in India actor Arjun Mathur bagged a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor category for his bold character in the show, Netflix’s India Original series Delhi Crime is nominated for Best Drama series and Amazon Prime Video’s Four More Shots Please! is nominated in Best Comedy category!
Arjun – whose fellow nominees are Billy Barratt in UK’s Responsible Child, Guido Caprino in Italian series 1994, and Raphael Logam in Brazilian series Impuros – took to his Instagram account to share his happiness. “Ok (breathe) so this just happened,” posted Mathur.
An equally thrilled Sayani Gupta posted a fun boomerang video alongside the caption: Spinning with the love @4moreshotspls for #internationalemmyawards”

Last year too India had secured nominations at the Emmys. Netflix Original series Sacred Games, Lust Stories as well as Amazon Prime Video’s The Remix, had been nominated for the International Emmy Awards. Nawazuddin Siddiqui–starrer McMafia won the Best Drama series Award at the 2019 Emmys.
The 2020 Emmys will be announced at a ceremony produced from New York City on November 23.
