11 years of 3 idiots: Things you didn’t know about the hit film!

Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots is one of those couple of movies that will stay scratched in the memory of film lovers in India. The dramatization portraying the lives of three friends made a connection with the audience, when it came out in 2009. Featuring Aamir Khan, Ranganathan Madhavan and Sharman Joshi as engineering students, the film is propelled from Chetan Bhagat’s novel, Five Point Someone. It was actor Omi Vaidya as Chatur Ramalingam a.k.a. The Silencer, who made his Bollywood debut with the film, and won hearts with his sublime execution. This brilliant movie completes 11 years today and on that note here are five things that you didn’t know about the movie:

In an interview, Vidhu Vinod Chopra uncovered that the idea behind the flying helicopter in the film was Dia Mirza.

Aamir doesn’t stop in the whole movie, he is seen moving and swaying the entire time. Clearly, the actor finished up in the wake of noticing his nephew that the current age never stops moving.
