NO TIME TO DIE: The release of Daniel Craig-starrer James Bond movie has been postponed to next year

The film is now expected to hit theatres on April 2, 2021 which is exactly a year later than the originally-planned release date of April, 2020

The wait to see James Bond in action has just gotten longer. The film that has Daniel Craig play the famed British undercover agent was slated to release on November 12 this year (2020). However keeping in mind the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic, the theatrical release has now been pushed ahead to next year. According to a statement released by the makers, No Time To Die will now release on April 2, 2021 to have a worldwide theatrical audience.

“We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing ‘No Time To Die’ next year,” the makers – MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli – said in the statement.

No Time To Die is the 25th film in the James Bond hit franchise and was initially slated to release in April 2020. But in the wake of the global health crisis since early this year, the film was then postponed to November 2020, before being pushed further ahead to April 2021, exactly a year later since the originally planned release date. The film also happens to be Daniel Craig’s last stint as the British agent 007.
