Saloni Batra has a strong message of hope in 200 Halla Ho

The Bollywood actress will be seen in the Zee5 original web film directed by Sarthak Dasgupta

Saloni Batra is gearing up for the release of her Zee5 Original film 200 Halla Ho that is all set to premiere on August 20. And looks like the web film directed by Sarthak Dasgupta is very close to the actress for a special reason too. The Bollywood actress best known for her performances in films like Taish, Uljhan – The Knot, Soni and Parchayee will be seen portraying the character of Purva Shahane, an outspoken and courageous activist and journalist.

The film is based on true events challenging the stereotypical patriarchy of society and focuses on the aftermath of the incident. The film addresses pertinent issue in society testing people’s conscience. The film has Saloni Batra’s character enduring changes and seeing many atrocities that women have gone through. She raises her voice that women be treated as equally as men and fairly as human beings.

Saloni Batra – who’s always opted for content-oriented roles – is thrilled to be a part of this project under the direction of Sarthak Dasgupta as she always wanted to speak about women empowerment and 200 Halla Ho highlights that efficiently.
