After the success of Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate. While the actor is currently busy shooting for Robbie Grewal’s espionage-thriller Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW), he cannot contain his excitement on doing the sequel to Sarfarosh titled Sarfarosh 2. Soon, John Abraham will reprise the role of Aamir Khan in the sequel to Sarfarosh.
In an interview to a leading daily, John Abraham said, “John (Matthew Matthan, director) met me and said, ‘Hey, I need a younger character for Sarfarosh 2. Are you interested in doing it?’ I was more than happy, and then I decided to produce it, too. I had a lot of faith in John.” But we wonder if John got an opportunity to discuss the sequel with Aamir Khan? To which, John replied, “I didn’t chat with Aamir. John and he have been talking. I am sure he’s got Aamir’s blessings to do this. Aamir is someone I am deeply fond of, and I’m a big fan of his. It’s an honour to be stepping into a role that has such a big history.” And just like the director of Sarfarosh, even we feel that John is the right choice to be stepping into Aamir’s role.
