Subhash Ghai has been surrounded by a lot of allegations in the on-going #MeToo movement in India. The director has been called out by a few anonymous women who have accused him of sexual misconduct. An aspiring actress even narrated her story to a woman who posted it on Twitter saying the director drugged and raped her. The latest one to speak against the director is actress Kate Sharma who has come out in front of the media and is not shying away from revealing her identity. The actress has accused Subhash Ghai of forcefully trying to kiss her.
She told a news agency, “He called me at his house on August 6. 5-6 people were present there and he asked me to give him a massage. I massaged him & went to wash my hands, he followed me and called me to his room to talk & tried to kiss me.” The actress has filed a complaint against the director in Mumbai and we hope truth prevails soon.
