Amit Sadh has 3 OTT releases in a span of 2 days!
Amit Sadh is on a roll and how. The actor has clearly been ruling the OTT-space with his web-shows releasing one after another. And now in a rare feat of sorts, the Super 30 actor has not one, but two movies premiering back-to-back this month with Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara releasing on July 30 and then Vidya Balan-starrer Shakuntala Devi releasing on July 31. The OTT star has been wowing audience with his performance in one show after another and he’s set to do the same with his films too. And we can’t help notice the sudden surge of his name all across different streaming platforms. Interestingly, though the actor had made his small screen debut much earlier, 2020 sees him complete a decade in Bollywood since his debut with Kai Po Che (2010).
The Kai Po Che actor first made quite an impact with his Amazon Prime web-show Breathe alongside R Madhavan and then his films Barot House and Operation Parindey on Zee5. And now he’s back with an even more impactful performance with Breathe: Into The Shadows – this one starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen that released on July 19 on Amazon Prime. And now apart from the hit show and two much-awaited films – Shakuntala Devi and Yaara – on his platter, the actor also has Avrodh: The Seige Within coming up on SonyLIV on July 31 which is also the date that Shakuntala Devi releases.

That’s having two shows and two films releasing all in a month’s time of which three are releasing within two days’ time. And interestingly, all the shows and films see him in versatile roles. While Avrodh has him play Major Videep – Special Forces Commander and Leader of the Uri Surgical Strike, Breathe series had him play inspector Kabir Sawant in the Crime Branch, while Yaara has him play a goon alongside Vidyut Jamwal.
