Deepika Padukone is back to work in Goa to shoot for Shakun Batra’s untitled next movie! She will be co-starring with Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey in the upcoming movie.
The actress had to return to Mumbai on September 28 as she was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the Bollywood drug case that was brought to light due to Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise by suicide. She came back to Goa to continue her shoot on October 8.
While in the absence of Deepika, the movie continued shooting in Goa with scenes between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey. Back after 10 days, Batra made sure Deepika was able to ease back into her role by beginning to shoot some light-hearted scenes between Siddhant and Ananya.
While the director has been very guarded about what his unnamed movie is about, some speculate the movie revolves around two young couples and their changing relationship dynamics as they embark on a road trip.
The film supposed to be up in theatres in March 2020 but its release has been postponed by 6 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Besides the upcoming untitled movie, Deepika will also soon be seen in the movie 83, opposite Ranveer Singh, the upcoming remake of The Intern and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan.
