Luka Chuppi (2019):
In this romantic-comedy, Kartik Aaryan aced his role as a man hesitant to try out the modern concept of live-in relationships but eventually coming around to it. His chemistry with Kriti Sanon was adorable as they tip-toed their way in a nosy, traditional neighbourhood. With clean humour, amazing music, and a great modern love story, Luka Chuppi is a treat to watch.
Love Aaj Kal 2 (2020):
Imtiaz Ali’s return of the famous love in Love Aaj Kal was a much-anticipated movie of 2020. Exploring the timeless love story, Kartik Aaryan played two roles of a man willing to wait for the love of his life, who is impatient and in a hurry. Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s chemistry was sizzling, to say the least. With a beautiful soundtrack by Arijit Singh and many more talented artists, Love Aaj Kal and Kartik Aaryan will make you cry and laugh with joy.
Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1&2 (2011, 2015):
The 2011 movie that put Kartik Aaryan on the radar as the frustrated lover boy who can deliver a seven-minute-long monologue flawlessly. Kartik Aaryan played a boy frustrated with the complicated rules involved with dating women and the hold they have on him. Playing an innocent yet eager boy, Kartik Aaryan resonated with countless men.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018):
The 2018 comedy was a love story of a different kind. The love of friendship and loyalty between two lifelong friends, as the threat of an end to their bro-hood is incoming in the form of marriage. Right from the beginning till the very end, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a heartwarming comedy between friends and will make you want to call your childhood friends right away.
Silvat (2018):
While he filmed for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Aaryan also filmed a short film that was written by Faraz Ansari and directed by Tanuja Chandra. We see a very different side of Kartik in this story where he plays a tailor in love with an older, married woman. The subtle glances of love, the unspoken language of trust, and the always lingering hope of reciprocation between the two makes Silvat a touching and sentimental watch.
