Emma Stone, who has continued to win our hearts with her contagious smile and beautiful performances turns 32 today! Acting since the age of 4, she is an Oscar Award-winning actress who transforms into every character she plays with ease. On her birthday, here are 5 of her best performances: 

Easy A (2010): 

Emma Stone’s performance in the movie was nothing short of perfect! Playing a quirky teenager who ruins her reputation by spreading false rumors, Emma Stone effortlessly portrays the struggles of teen angst and peer pressure in this movie. Easy A is a light-hearted, fun comedy perfect for a girl’s night in!

Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011): 

The stupid emotions you feel, the crazy, impulsive decisions you make, and the absolute unexplainable feeling of love. This is what the 2011 movie conveys through three different stories about crazy, stupid, love. Emma Stone’s character, Hannah is a relatable, and hilarious character to say the least. Her chemistry with the heartthrob that is Ryan Gosling is a treat to watch.

The Help (2011): 

Set in an America that is right amidst the Civil Rights Movement, The Help features an ensemble cast of Viola Davis, Jessica Chastain, Octavia Spencer, and Emma Stone. While it is needless to say that Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer were the epitomai of talent in the movie, Emma Stone shined through her brilliant performance as well. Playing a clumsy journalist who is often very “unladylike” in her mannerism, Emma Stone’s performance was brilliant and beautiful. 

The Favourite (2018): 

The banter, the tension, and the undeniable chemistry between three amazing actors like Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz is nothing short of a blessing to watch. Set in the 1700s in Great Britain, The Favourite is a hilarious and amusing black comedy entailing the politics, manipulation, and juicy secrets of a royal family. 

La La Land (2016): 

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s chemistry cannot be ignored, that is already known. But what isn’t is the beautiful voice of Stone that came through with the musical numbers in the movie. With songs, dances, love, and heartbreak, La La Land won the heart of millions along with an Oscar for Best Film and Best Actress for stone at the 89th Academy Awards.
