The former couple is set to reunite on screen for the star-studded virtual live table reading of the 1982 teen classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Hollywood’s former power-couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are all set to reunite on screen after 19 years. Their last screen outing together was in 2001 for the Thanksgiving episode of the hit sitcom Friends starring Jennifer, in which Brad made a guest appearance. Now the two are expected to be a part of the star-studded virtual live table read reading of the 1982 teen classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High. This is the first time that the couple will be working together since the two separated in 2005.
While the original cast featured Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Judge Reinhold the new star-cast of this unrehearsed event besides Sean Penn, includes Dane Cook, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, and Julia Roberts. However, it is unclear if Brad and Jennifer will share a scene at this unique virtual live reading since the roles haven’t been revealed yet. The virtual table read will stream on various platforms including Facebook on August 21.
Interestingly, though the two stars haven’t worked together professionally since their split, the two did grab headlines with their off-screen reunions. Earlier this year, Brad and Jennifer were much talked about as they met backstage at the SAG Awards (January 20, 2020). But that’s not all. Brad had also attended Jennifer’s 50th birthday celebrations last year (February 2019) highlighting their cordial relationship.
