The lockdown has given couples ample quality time with each other. However, our celeb couples have gone ahead and unlocked treats for their fans as they co-starred in music videos and short films. And fans who had been hoping to see the actors star together had their wishes come true. Let’s take a look at some of their creative endeavours:
Rohit Roy and Manasi Joshi Roy
The multifaceted Rohit Roy and his super talented wife, actress Mansi Joshi Roy featured in a five-part series called Locked in Love which talks about the trials, tribulations, and joys of their love life. Mansi and Rohit also starred in the short films Pal and Agar Tum Saath Ho, both directed by Rohit himself.
Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey
Television’s power couple Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey starred in Badshah and Payal’s music video Toxic. The video that was much appreciated was directed by Ravi and shot completely at their home.
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya collaborated for an advertisement where they reminisce about old times and the things they miss.
Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim
Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim and Shoaib Ibrahim also collaborated for an advertisement just before Eid to help their followers groom themselves before the festivities begin.
Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth
Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth have been on a creative spree since the lockdown. They’ve shot short comedy clips and also produced music videos for ‘Rehne Do Zara’ and ‘Kithe’ under their own banner (which was also launched during lockdown). It’s home-shot and directed by Vatsal Sheth and stars both Ishita and Vatsal.
Anup Soni and Juhi Babbar
Anup Soni and Juhi Babbar starred in a short film called Relationship Manager that addresses the issue of domestic violence. The short film also featured Anupam Kher, Sana Khan, and Divya Dutta.
Rasika Dugal and Mukul Chaddha
Rasika Dugal and Mukul Chaddha starred in Nandita Das’ Banana Bread, where they play two individuals who find friendship in isolation when they discover that they live a door away from each other.
