Deepika Padukone’s Next Is A Superhero Film

As per reports after Padmavat Deepika Padukone has signed her next big film. She will be a part of India’s first female superhero franchise. The makers are drawing inspiration for the film from Wonder Woman. Deepika Padukone’s look will be inspired by Gal Gadot’s. Since this is a first-of-its-kind mega project, the timelines for pre-production will be long and the project will go on the floors next year,” the source added.

Deepika was to start shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s film with Irrfan Khan which was based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. However, due to Irrfan Khan’s health, the film has been postponed. Deepika will begin shooting for the superhero film in 2019.
