Hollywood royalty is a termed used for scions of families so entrenched in Hollywood, that the industry is built on the back on their contributions. If you were to analyse the credits of The Godfather, you’ve notice the following: patriarch of the family Carmine Coppola as the original music composer, his son Francis Ford Coppola as the director, and daughter Talia Shire as the character Connie Corleone. Talia’s two sons dabble in acting in making films and music, and Sofia Coppola is also a known name. Safe to say, there is almost no one in the this family who is not associated with the industry. In fact, between all of them, they have been nominated for more or less 20 Oscars. The third generation of this family is actor Nicholas cage, who’s also earned success in the industry.
