Summers can be hard even when you don’t have to go out in the sun. The humidity makes you irritable sure, but what about your skin? Don’t worry now, we’ve got you covered! Here’re five skincare tips for summer that will refresh and energize your skin!
1. Keep yourself hydrated
Not to be captain obvious on this one but, water most definitely is your best friend, in summers and otherwise, to keep your skin healthy! Eight glasses of water a day should do the trick.
2. Lessen your oil intake
If you have oily skin, keeping away from all oils is your best bet! Oily skin is more prone to pimples and acne in the summers and oil in your food or skin care products only encourages it more and that can be endlessly tedious.
3. Don’t forget to exfoliate!
Let your skin breath! Your skin produces dead cells at an alarming rate and getting rid of them as much as possible is a must. You can do that by using your preferred face scrub at least twice in a week!
4. Take extra care of your lips and eyes
Your lips are the most sensitive part of your skin. Make sure to have a lip balm on you at all times to keep your lips from getting dry and chapped. While you’re at it, don’t forget to cool your eyes with an eye mask or cotton soaked in rose water.
5. Moisturizer and Sunscreen!
Last but not the least, moisturizers and sunscreen, we can’t emphasize enough on their importance. They are your best friends in the summers. Use your preferred one on your skin everyday and a little extra on the soles your feet. Remember to have different ones for your face and rest of the skin!
