The world will see two talented, and critically acclaimed actors sharing a screen together for the first time with Goldfish. Kalki Koechlin and Neena Gupta will be starring together in this international British American project titled, Goldfish.
The script for the project was written keeping Kalki and Neena Gupta in mind. The project is directed by Pushan Kripalani, known for The Threshold (2018) and Chhodon Na Yaar (2007). The story revolves around a daughter, played by Kalki, who returns home to her estranged mother who has started showing early signs of dementia, played by Neena Gupta. With undertones of mental health, relationships, memories, and self-realizations, the project seems to have awakened the curiosities of many.
Both Kalki Koechlin and Neena Gupta took to their Instagrams to express their excitement and announce their collaboration on Goldfish. Amit Saxena and producer Pooja Chauhan are also a part of this international project, with story by Pushan Kripalani and Arghya Lahiri. The shooting for the upcoming movie is all set to begin in the UK in 2021.
