Halloween Spook Fest: The most awaited horror movies to watch out for!

The spooky season never ends, it’s perpetual. Every now and then we all need to jump with fear and look out for the latest supernatural being in the corner of our eye. So get ready, set your timers, and mark your calendars for the most-awaited upcoming horror movies! 

The Witches (October 28, 2020): 

When a pesky kid interrupts a witch conference at a hotel, the Grand High Witch turns him into a mouse. He must now stop her from turning all children into vermin. Based on Roald Dahl’s story and screenplay written by Kenya Barris, Zemeckis, and Guillermo Del Toro, The Witches starring Anne Hathway, Octavia Spencer, and Stanley Tucci released on HBO Max on October 22. The dark fantasy comedy will be available on significant, international platforms on October 28, 2020.

Run (November 20, 2020): 

Could a mother’s nurturing have a sinister side? You can’t escape a mother’s love, but why would you want to? Sarah Paulson has left us stunned time and again if anything, this movie will be no different. From the makers of Searching, Run will be released on Hulu on November 20, 2020.

Antlers (February 19, 2021): 

When Guillermo Del Toro has anything to do with a movie, you know the movie will be gripping till the very end. Produced by Del Toro and written by Scott Cooper, Antlers follows a student who may be hiding something supernatural in his home. The movie is set to release on February 19, 2021.

A Quiet Place Part II (April 23, 2021): 

What terrors lie beyond their sand path? The Abbott family has no choice but to quietly step foot into the unknown as they silently fight the monsters who’ve taken over. With muffled screams and hushed footsteps, A Quiet Place Part II starring Emily Blunt and directed by John Krasinski was slated to release in September 2020, but will now hit the theatres on April 23, 2020.

Last Night in Soho (April 23, 2021): 

Edgar Wright is back directing this psychological thriller that follows an aspiring fashion designer who mysteriously enters 1960s London. But London, may not be what it seems with time falling apart and the disastrous, shady consequences that follow. The movie that marks the final film appearances for Game of Thrones star, Diana Riggs and Carry On actress, Margaret Nolan who passed away this year, will release on April 23, 2021. 

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (June 4, 2021): 

Witness the first time in American history, when a murder suspect claimed demonic possession as his defense. Bringing you the story of an evil that left paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren shocked, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson is set to shock you on June 4, 2021. 

Don’t Breathe 2 (August 13, 2021): 

Norman Nordstrom has to leave behind his quiet existence and retreat when the orphan girl he raised gets kidnapped by a group of kidnappers. With Stephan Lang reprising his role of The Blind Man, Don’t Breathe 2 by Sony Pictures Releasing will release on August 12, 2021. 

Candyman (August 27, 2021): 

When a neighborhood warns you of the hook-handed supernatural being, thirsty for blood, heed their warnings. Produced by Jordan Peele — the director of Get Out and Us, Candyman tells the horror story of an artist knowing Candyman and meeting his destiny. The Candyman is coming, even if you don’t call for him 5 times, on August 27, 2021.

The Addams Family 2 (October 8, 2021): 

Our favourite goth family is back with an all-new set of dangerous experiments and Wednesday’s gloomy, dreadful stares. Starring Charlize Theron, Oscar Isaac, Bette Midler, and Snoop Dogg, the movie will be back with all its ghoulishness on October 8, 2021.

Halloween Kills (October 15, 2021): 

Michael Myers is back, bloodier than ever in the twelfth installment of the Halloween franchise, Halloween Kills to slash and dash The Strode family. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer, the movie will be releasing on October 15, 2021.
