“ I enjoyed my iftar in Abu Dhabi,” says Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi visits Abu Dhabi for a special screening of his movie – PM Narendra Modi.

The actor has been in the news for his now deleted tweet on former girl- friend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

1. How was your visit to Abu Dhabi during Ramadan?

It was my first time in Abu Dhabi. It was a very short visit. I was here for the special screening of the film and I am flying back today itself. During the screening I could hear people chanting, Modi Modi. Even the childrens and youngsters told me that they feel patriotic and how much they loved the film. I also enjoyed Iftaar party and it was a lovely experience, less food choices for vegetarians though (giggles).”

2. Share your experience working for the biopic of PM Narendra Modi.

” The experience was great, it took a lot of hardwork. I had to stay focused. I became 100% vegetarian I had to even avoid onions and garlic. I used to wake up 8 am in the morning as the make up took 6-7 hours. It was a very challenging role.”

4. What would you tell people who haven’t watched the movie?

“There are people who love and hate Modi ji but to know him and his journey and what he has done for India, one should definitely watch the film. The biopic carries a very aspirational story of Mr. Modi. If your love your country (India) you should watch the film.”

5 The film saw a good collection at Box Office?

“Really happy and excited. Thank you everyone who is appreciating the movie despite of all the criticism and we had only 4 days to promote the movie as due to elections we allowed to promote the movie after 20th of May.”
