‘Hand in Hand’ initiative concentrates on correcting but not punishing the traffic violators. Policemen started giving roses to those who drive over the speed limit with advice. This initiative aims to spread awareness of road safety.

Discussing the initiative, Lt Colonel Saif Mohammed Al Ameri, deputy director of the Traffic and Patrols Department in Al Ain, explained it was all about “educating motorists”.
“This initiative is aimed at enhancing awareness among drivers by educating them about the importance of safe driving by adhering to traffic rules and regulations to avoid accumulating traffic violations,” he said.
