Remember Vidya Balan’s famous dialogue from ‘The Dirty Picture”? “Filmein sirf teen cheezo ke wajah se chalti hai … entertainment, entertainment, entertainment” and Pati Patni Aur Woh does just that for a runtime of about minutes.
Film is about Abhinav Tyagi aka Chintu Tyagi played by Kartik Aaryan who is a civil engineer at PWD Kanpur and his personal life. Who is an obedient, picked a government job, and got married as per his parent’s wishes. His parents fix his future with Vedika played by Bhumi Pednekar and she is a teacher in a coaching classes.
Then Ananya Pandey makes an entry as Tapasya Singh. Tapasya is a budding entrepreneur from Delhi who visits Kanpur regarding an official work at the PWD’s office, where she meets Abhinav.
Abhinav loves the attention he gets from Tapasya and starts lying to Vedika and also lies to Tapasya that he is victim of an unhappy married life and that his wife is having an affair when she find out he is married.
Aparshakti Khurana character stands out and super entertaining and he is not just the supporting role in the movie. He will be one of your best character who will make you laugh your lungs out.
There is also a cameo of Sunny Singh who is a surprise element in the movie and he brings in the twist in the movie. What is that twist we leave it for the audience to find out.
In the end there is one more surprise in the movie.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Is All About Fun and entertainment and doesn’t tell you to take itself seriously. If you are looking for some good entertainment this weekend, this one could be a delightful watch.
Movie is a must watch and light-hearted fun!
