In a video posted by the global icon on Instagram, she urges fans to support small businesses owned by inspiring women, by following their handles or making a purchase. She also reveals her decision to give them a shoutout on her Instagram for a wider reach.
Small businesses have been some of the worst-hit during the pandemic. The businesses which had been taking baby steps upwards faced a sudden blow due to the global lockdown. We hope that Priyanka Chopra’s support and reach will help boost up these businesses and bring them back on their feet.
This noble act isn’t unprecedented for Priyanka, who has engaged in philanthropic activities in the past and is also UNICEF’s Global Goodwill Ambassador.
