With several A-league Bollywood stars claiming their spotlight on the OTT platforms, studios an production houses are now looking at roping in many more biggies in the digital space as well. And as per industry buzz, one of the actors being wooed for the web-world is Ranbir Kapoor. As per reports, the Bollywood heartthrob has been offered a web-series. However, there’s been no confirmation from Ranbir about taking on the assassin drama.
If the young star does go ahead with starring in the web-series, he will be joining the increasing list of Bollywood names on the OTT that includes Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, R Madhavan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divyenndu Sharma, amongst others. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan are some other names who’ve reportedly signed on mega deals with leading streaming giants like Amazon Prime and Netflix, while Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan are also producing content for the OTT.
Meanwhile, Ranbir has Shamshera and Brahmastra on his platter. While he shot for Shamshera recently with Sanjay Dutt, he’s currently dubbing for Brahmastra and has a few days of shoot left on the Ayan Mukerji fantasy thriller.
