Skin and Hair remedies with Eggs

Eggs are perfect health foods. But besides their nutritious value, they make for great beauty ingredients too… of course provided you can stand their smell! Here is a list of face and hair masks you can make with eggs for yourself:

FACE MASKS
Eggs that are rich in proteins, vitamins amino acids are considered good for treating acne but we recommend you check for any allergic reactions first. Just apply a little on your wrist and wait. If there is no reaction, you’re good to go.

Lemon, Honey and Egg Mask
To make this nourishing mask, you need to mix the egg whites of one egg with the juice of half a lemon and a tablespoon of honey. Apply it on your face in a circular motion and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water and a face wash to get rid of the odour of the egg and achieve soft and healthy skin.

Orange, Turmeric and Egg Mask
This yellow mask is meant to treat dark spots, skin discolorations, and helps de-tan and brighten the skin. You have to mix the whites of one egg with two tablespoons of orange juice and turmeric. Apply the mask on your face and neck and leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with warm water.

HAIR MASKS

Egg, Almond Oil, and  Coconut Oil Mask
A hair mask of egg with almond and coconut oil provides deep conditioning and nourishment to the hair. You have to put together a whole egg with two tablespoons of almond oil and two tablespoons of coconut oil. Massage it on your scalp and make sure you go down to the tips of your hair. The mask works best when kept for an hour or so. The mask should be washed off with cold water and shampoo of choice to remove the smell of egg.

Egg and Curd Mask
An egg and curd mask is made with a whole egg mixed with three tablespoons of curd. Apply it if you’re facing dandruff or hair fall-related issues. Leave it for an hour or so and wash it off with cold water as well. You will feel a considerable difference in your hair texture after using this mask.

Egg and castor oil
Castor oil and egg is an effective source of providing nourishment to the hair and prevents damage and breaking. It is also a great mask to apply after dyeing your hair to ease the roughness and condition the hair. You have to mix a whole egg with four tablespoons of castor oil. Massage it well on your scalp and hair and leave it for an hour. Wash it off with some shampoo and condition it well.
