The much awaited Rocketry will release its trailer today. The film will see Madhavan in a completely new space and avatar which is surely going to surprise the audience. The film will also have the iconic Shahrukh Khan and Southern superstar Suriya. SRK play a journalist in the film is what has been rumoured.
Starring Madhavan in the titular role, the film is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation who was caught in a spy scandal. The scientist he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested.The charges against him were dismissed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in April 1996, and the Supreme Court of India declared him not guilty in 1998. He was later conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2019, that is India’s third highest civilian award.
The film is mounted on a massive scale and it marks the debut of Madhavan, the multi-faceted actor, now wearing the director’s hat. Madhavan has also written the project. The film is co-produced by R Madhavan, Sarita Madhavan, Varghese Moolan and Vijay Moolan.
Touted to be Madhavan’s biggest film ever, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will be simultaneously released in three languages – English, Tamil and Telugu.
