Tamil TV actress VJ Chithra dies by suicide

VJ Chithra, of Pandian Stores fame, died by suicide in a hotel room in Nazarethpettai, Chennai. The TV actress was shooting at EVP Film City last night and had returned to her hotel room at 2:30 AM, December 9. The 28-year-old actress was staying at the hotel with her fiance, businessman Hemanth. Nazarethpettai police are currently investigating the matter. 

The exceptional dancer and actress’s demise has shocked the internet as fans and co-stars mourn her absence. Through her portrayal of Mullai in Pandian Stores,  Chithra had won the hearts of countless admirers and fans. On August 25 this year, she got engaged to Hemanth in a traditional ceremony. The two had an arranged marriage set-up and were to tie the knot soon.
