Anthony and Joe Russo’s next action-thriller, The Gray Man will see Ana De Armas star opposite two charming men — Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans! The big-budget movie was being developed at Sony by the Russo brothers before Netflix acquired it when the package went back on the market.
The thriller is based on Mark Greaney’s debut novel by the same name, which tells the tale of a freelance assassin (Chris Evans) and a former CIA operative named Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling). The movie will depict a classic manhunt between Gosling and Evans’ character. The Gray Man movie is based on the first installation of Greaney’s book.
Chris Evans has previously worked with Ana De Armas in the murder mystery movie, Knives Out. He’s also worked with the Russo brothers in the Marvel Studios movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After her performance in Golden Globe-nominated Knives Out, De Armas starred in Sergio, The Informer, and The Night Clerk, and will soon be seen in the latest James Bond movie No Time to Die in 2021. Ryan Gosling was last seen in the astronaut movie First Man while Chris Evans was last seen in The Devil All The Time in 2020.
