Following the long established successful Eid releases, Salman Khan’s Bharat looks like a promising addition to the list. The highly anticipated Salman Khan release of 2019 has been creating a buzz ever since news of its filming first surfaced. As a result, Varun Dhawan’s appearance in the movie only added more sparks to the hype surrounding it. While it was initially left to speculation what role Dhawan would play in the movie, according to latest reports – it has since been confirmed that Varun Dhawan will be playing the role of a young Dhirubhai Ambani, the late Indian business tycoon.
The ambiguity surrounding Dhawan’s part in the film, resulted in a lot of speculation; with rumors even suggesting that the young actor will have a more conventional cameo in the form of a song appearance but now we finally have some confirmations about the role.
Inspired from the Korean drama hit ‘An Ode to my Father’, this movie has gained a lot of attention regarding its talented casting. Starring Salman Khan along with Katrina Kaif as lead roles in the film, it will also include talents such as Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi in crucial roles. Casting is definitely looking like a very strong factor surrounding this film. The producer, Atul Agnihotri, has been reported to have earlier said, “Casting will be our main agenda over the next three months and since it’s a character-driven story, we will take actors who fit the part.” The movie is being filmed in a variety of locations which include – Abu Dhabi, Spain, Malta along with Punjab and Delhi.
We are eager to see how Varun Dhawan portrays the young version of late Dhirubhai Ambani in the premiere of the highly anticipated Bharat, this Eid.
