Vaishnav Tej – starrer Uppena has crossed ₹25 crore share world-wide within three days of release making it an all-time high grosser for any debut hero film in India and emerged as biggest Telugu grosser in the US in post-Covid times
Vaishnav Tej is undoubtedly proving to be the star to watch out for in South cinema. The young Telugu debutant has created a record of sorts with his very first film Uppena. The film has had a record-breaking opening of ₹10 crore on the very first day. Not just that, within 3 days, the film has gone on to rake in more than ₹25 crore worldwide. In post-Covid times this has emerged to be the highest Telugu grosser in the US.

And congratulating the Team and Panja Vaishnav Tej on their blockbuster success was none other than South megastar Ram Charan. The romantic drama that stars Krithi Shetty opposite Tej has been directed by Bucchi Babu Sana. The film revolves around the topic of honour killing.

The film has been produced by Sukumar, Naveen Yerenini and Y Ravi Shankar under their respective production banners Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad (of ‘Swing Zara’ fame), while the cinematography and editing is done by Shamdat.
