The Bollywood star shared a video celebrating his dad as the ‘King of Comedy’
It’s filmmaker David Dhawan’s 70th birthday today (August 16) and son Varun Dhawan has the most adorable wish for his father. The Bollywood star took to his Instagram to share a video that tags the senior director as the ‘King of Comedy’ and celebrates his journey.

Varun Dhawan was last year (2020) directed by dad David Dhawan in the remake of his hit Govinda – Karisma Kapoor starrer Coolie No 1. The remake of the comedy had starred Sara Ali Khan opposite the young actor.
Meanwhile, Varun who recently completed the shoot of the horror Bhediya, has resumed the shoot of Jug Jugg Jeyo. The Raj Mehta directorial also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Kiara Advani.
