Even as Robert Pattinson’s The Batman directed by Matt Reeves is much awaited by DCU fans, there’s buzz about Colin Farrell getting his own spin-off show featuring him as the Penguin. As per reports, Colin has officially signed on to star as the DC villain in the Penguin series. Colin who stars as Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin in the highly-anticipated movie The Batman will reprise his role in the series set to air on HBO Max.
Reports say that the The Batman spin-off series will revolve around Penguin’s rise to power in the Gotham City underworld. Colin Farrell is absolutely unrecognizable as the Penguin in teasers of The Batman and the response to his looks as the DC villain have been phenomenal. So the fans are now naturally excited to see the star take on the character on a spin-off journey.
