Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently busy promoting her film Veere Di Wedding. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, VDW is slated to release on June 1, 2018.
There have been several rumours about what will be Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next film. As reported by DNA, the actor will be uniting with Karan Johar after a long time. The film will be directed by Raj Mehta and Kareena, who is a doting mother to Taimur Ali Khan, will don a mother’s hat in the film.
Reportedly, Karan wanted Kareena to do a film with Dharma for the longest time. Right after Ki & Ka (2016), there were talks of her acting in a movie under KJo’s banner, but that had to be deferred because of her pregnancy. Now, both of them have decided to come together for Raj Mehta’s directorial venture. Given how Kareena plays the role of a mom in real life, she was the perfect fit. The film is a unique take on marriage and relationships. It’s a romcom with a sweet message. When Bebo heard the script, she instantly liked it.
The film will have three actors apart from Kareena Kapoor Khan. The story will focus on two couples – one of the couples will be married for a few years and another couple will be newly wedded. The filming will begin from November 2018.
The actor will be starred alongside an A-lister of her age. However, the actors who will play the young couple are yet to be finalised.
