It was in fact Ranbir who revealed that they are dating in an interview. This was very new to both of them. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt spoke about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor on Koffee With Karan along with Deepika Padukone. Even Kapoor and Bhatt families have given their approval towards the loved-up couple.
Weddings are currently a trend in Bollywood with couples like Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh tying the knot. We may have to wait a few more years before we see RanAlia as a married couple. However, we can see that their relationship has gone to the next level. According to Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir has added Alia on his family chat group that compromises of his parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and aunt Rima Jain.
That is indeed a big step for the couple, in the millennial sense at least!

Meanwhile, during a media interaction, Alia was asked about her father’s comment on how he felt about Ranbir Kapoor being a great guy for Alia.
