Irrfan sent shockwaves across the nation with the news of his battle with Neuroendocrine tumour, the country went into a deep shock. Being one of the most celebrated actors across the globe, Irrfan Khan’s sudden deteriorating health had all his closed ones from the industry coming together for him. He is currently getting his treatment done in London and not much is known of the his health right now, though the ailing actor left a heartbreaking message the he has surrendered for better or worse.
A source close to the actor revealed that Irrfan’s wife Sutapa had called to confide in Shah Rukh Khan, who rushed immediately to their residence a day before they were to fly out to London for the medical treatment. Reportedly, Shah Rukh spent two hours in the actor’s company and handed over the keys to his London house as a gesture so Irrfan and his family could feel at home during the on-going treatment.
On the work front, Irrfan will be seen next in Akarsh Khurana’s Karwaan, which marks the Bollywood debut of Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan as well as Mithila Palkar.
Karwaan revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives. The film will hit the screens on August 3.
