With the paparazzi culture and social media these days it helps us to keep track of Bollywood stars. Although, there is always a side to them which is not shared with the public. It is rare when we are informed about their lifestyle and things which are closer to their heart. PETA holds an annual poll to pick the Hottest Vegetarian Celebrities within the Indian film industry, to honor stars for their love for animals. The votes were tallied, and this year 2018 the winners are: Kartik Aaryan and winning top honour once again is Anushka Sharma, who previously won the title in 2015 and 2017.
Right from her PETA ad campaign, ‘I Am Anushka Sharma, and I’m a Vegetarian.’ to the actress going against firecrackers during Diwali, in order to reduce sound pollution for dogs…She has always been very communicative about her immense love and affection for animals. No wonder, Anushka Sharma has won the poll for the third time. “Going vegetarian was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have more energy, I feel healthier and I’m so happy that no animals had to suffer for my meals,” says Anushka.
Kartik Aaryan in tinsel town has always stood against animal cruelty, and crowned as the sexiest vegetarian celeb. “It only took one video of animals suffering and dying in the meat industry to convince me to go vegetarian. The kindest thing anybody can do for cows, pigs, chickens, and all animals is to stop eating them,” said Kartik Aaryan.
