Hollywood royalty is a termed used for scions of families so entrenched in Hollywood, that the industry is built on the back on their contributions. Or, to put it lightly, it indicates nepotism, but of the highest order! And it goes without saying that no one can touch them and they’re treated as royalty within the industry.
The Barrymores

The acting bug in the Barrymore family tree can be traced back to 1874, to Maurice Barrymore. An Oscar winner from 1931, he and his Broadway actress wife went on to have three sons, who dabbled in the industry. Their grand daughter is Drew Barrymore, who is a successful actress, who also found a true calling in entrepreneurship.

The most famous family in Hollywood today, the Kardashians’ revel in limelight – right from the clan’s mother Kris Jenner to her children from both her marriages. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob Kardashians, and their half siblings Kylie and Kendall Jenner are all thriving in their fields. Their children are already in the limelight too. Kris’ former spouse Caitlyn Jenner is no stranger to the world of celebrities and together, the clan is one of the most powerful in the industry.
The Coppolas
If you were to analyse the credits of The Godfather, you’ve notice the following: patriarch of the family Carmine Coppola as the original music composer, his son Francis Ford Coppola as the director, and daughter Talia Shire as the character Connie Corleone. Talia’s two sons dabble in acting in making films and music, and Sofia Coppola is also a known name. Safe to say, there is almost no one in the this family who is not associated with the industry. In fact, between all of them, they have been nominated for more or less 20 Oscars. The third generation of this family is actor Nicholas cage, who’s also earned success in the industry.
