“Logon ko haq jamaana aata hai, rishte nibhaana nahi.” Irrfan Khan’s dialogue in Karwaan rolls out of him with effortless brilliance. Like in Piku (where he is not necessarily a driver but considered to be one), he is seen driving the length and breadth of South India with Dulquer Salmaan in his Hindi debut film that is scheduled to release in on 2nd August in the UAE.
The film bases itself on two dead bodies that are exchanged as consignments and three characters played by Irrfan, DQ and Mithila Palkar and seems like a fun ride. “DQ’s “Maafi Maang. Maximum ek thappad kha,” amuses and so does his cool and collected candour. Mithila Palkar as a main lead adds the spunk to the road story.
The film has a fabulous star cast with great acting repertoire. Mithila Palkar, an actress widely known in the digital space, Dulquer Salmaan, one of the biggest stars from South India and the inimitable Irrfan owns the space he acts in – this film directed by Akarsh Khurana produced by Ronnie Screwala and Priti Rathi Gupta is totally awaited.
