Filmmaker Om Raut started shooting for the film today (February 2) in Goregaon
A huge fire broke out on the set of the Prabhas-starrer Adipurush today (February 2) on the first day of the shoot at around 4.30 pm IST. The incident occurred on the film’s set located at Retro Grounds, Goregaon in Mumbai. No injuries have been reported. Directed by Om Raut, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan. None of the two stars were present on the set, as they are to start shooting only mid-February.
According to sources, the film commenced shooting in the morning against a chroma screen and besides Om Raut, Marathi actor Surya was also present at the time of the incident. They are unharmed.
As per reports, around 50 to 60 people were present at the sets at the time the fire broke out. Eight fire engines, and five jumbo water tankers have been put in operation.
