Milky Way: 5 ways to use milk for natural skincare in winters!

Every season has it’s own charm and so does winters. But as this season of festivals and weddings arrives, we know you are worried about the dry and itchy skin. What we have here are easy DIY tips that will help you do both – cleanse and nourish your skin – and as twitterati would say here is a thread of 5 ways in which milk can help you get a glowing and moisturized skin this winter season:

Raw milk and turmeric facial cleanser

For your winter skincare routine we have a special cleanser which will not dry up your skin, rather nourish it. Take one teaspoon of raw milk and mix it with 1/4th teaspoon of turmeric, apply it on your face and neck, leave for a few minutes and wash with warm water for a glowing and moisturized skin in winters.

Milk and Banana mask
Here is one of the best ways to cope up with the damaged, dry and flaky skin in winters. Take a banana and mash half of it, add two teaspoons of milk and use it on your face till it dries and your skin feels tight, wash it off with lukewarm water.

Milk and Almond mask
While you take enough sunlight in the winters we have a tan removal mask ready for you which will also help you keep your skin soft and supple. Take 1 tablespoon of almond powder and 2 tablespoon of milk, mix it and apply on your face, keep it for about 20 minutes then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Milk and Honey mask
Struggling with dry skin? Take one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon milk, mix it till you get a thick paste and apply it on your face for deep moisturized skin.

Raw milk and Glycerin moisturizer
Moisturizing is one of the most important parts of skincare not only in winters but throughout the year and hence what we have here is something you definitely want to include in your skincare routine. Take two tablespoon of raw milk and mix it well with half table spoon of glycerin. You can apply it using cotton pads and keep it for 30 minutes before washing it off,  you can also keep it overnight if you have extra dry skin.
We wish you a happy and healthy skin this winter season!
