Fans can finally Save The Date for Thallapathy Vijay’s Master! The makers of the movie, XB Film Creators, took to social media to announce that Master will be releasing in theatres on January 13, 2021.
With a U/A certificate, the movie will be the first major Tamil theatrical release of 2021. The announcement of the release date comes after Vijay met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, in hopes to garner the government’s support for Master’s theatre release, and for theatres to operate at maximum capacity. So far theatres are only allowed to run at 50% capacity. The government’s decision remains unknown yet.
XB Film Creators also released a whole new poster with Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi going head-to-head. The picture of these two Vijays going against each other has only made fans more excited for the Pongal release! The movie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and also stars Malavika Mohanan and Arjun Das!
