Top workout trends to get fit this Summer

Last year changed the the way how we look at fitness, and we are to keep seeing these changes even in 2021. The pandemic has pushed us to think and prioritize our health over anything else. All of us are now concerned on how to stay fit and keep ourselves active for our physical as well as mental sanity. With outdoor activities slowly opening up and endless fitness programs that have become available online, looks like we can finally shed those extra quarantine kilos and get summer ready! Let’s take a look at some of the workouts that have gained popularity and likely to rule 2021.

1. Barre
Barre is a combination workout that mainly involves movements derived from ballet. It is a type of dance workout which is inspired by Pilates and yoga. It targets to work on your muscles and toning them without the use of any equipments.

2. TRX
The TRX, also known as Total Resistance Exercise has managed to jump on the list. All you need is a TRX anchor to perform this exercise. It focuses on the overall strengthening of your body using your own bodyweight which results in improved flexibility and balance. 

3. Pilates
From celebrities to athletes, this workout trend took over the internet during the lockdown days. Like yoga, many fitness enthusiasts now vouch for Pilates as the best form of workout. These exercises work on your core strength from every angle without machine help. With fitness fans singing its praises, they are definitely here to stay!

4. HIIT
HIIT or High-Intensity Interval training, is one of the most effective workouts if done right. It’s a training where you increase your heart beat with intense exercises and then alternate it with low-intensity recovery periods. This type of workout is highly being preferred as it has to potential to burn maximum calories in a few minutes.

5. Everesting
With outdoor activities and cities opening up, everesting or cycling till you drop is the new exhilarating challenge taken up by fitness fads. No matter what the distance, it must be ridden in one attempt and on the same route. If cycling has been your forte, challenging yourself with it can work magic on you.
