Using Rice Water for Better Hair

The use of rice water for hair has long been an ancient beauty ritual in Asian culture, and it’s even hit mainstream popularity with countless influencers, bloggers, and YouTubers swearing by it for healthier, stronger, and shinier hair.

According to experts, rice water is filled with nutrients like amino acids, vitamins B and E, minerals, and antioxidants.

Now, how do you use your prepared rice water? It quite simple, just use it as a hair rinse after shampooing. Leave it in for anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes before rinsing out with lukewarm or cold water.


Not only do advocates of rice water swear that it helps grow hair, some other benefits include; detangling hair, increasing shine, strengthens hair follicles, etc.
