Designer Anamika Khanna and Sonam Kapoor have had a decade of artistic collaborations between them.
Their most well-known being Sonam’s stunning red carpet looks at the Cannes in 2013- 2014, that was a version of the saree drape in its most glamourous avatar. Sonam also wore a pastel pink sari with a floor-dusting trench coat by Anamika for an event by Fashion Trust Arabia in Qatar.

For her wedding receptoion, the actor wore a striped monochrome cape lehenga set by a Khanna and a pink lehenga for her bidai. She was the first to wear a personalised lehenga from Khanna’s ‘Everything is AK-OK’ collection.
The gorgeous actor also wore a hot pink lehenga embroidered with her name for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding. She wrote on her Instagram “I’m so so fortunate to be your muse and that @rheakapoor and I get to collaborate with you. I hope I never take you for granted (…) I shed a tear when I wore this outfit because I know it was inspired by your boys and they gave you strength during your lowest,” she wrote.
Recently the creative duo collaborated on Anamika’s collection, that was an ode to the culture of modern India and its heritage. A fusion of Indian aesthetics meets fuss-free dressing, this unique collection has wooed audiences across the world. Sonam truly embodies the modern Indian woman in her various glamorous avatars.
