Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty are teaming up for a comedy film — an adaptation of Gulzaar’s 1982 cult comedy Angoor.
Following the classic plot of separated twins, funny mishaps, and situational humor, the movie will have Ranveer Singh playing a double role!
In 2015, the buzz was that Rohit Shetty will be teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan for the hilarious comedy. Now, Rohit Shetty would like Ranveer Singh to take the place of Sanjeev Kumar. After giving us a hit like Simmba with their previous team-up, this retelling of the cult classic seems promising.
The lockdown has supposedly given the director much needed time to tune Angoor’s script for his adaptation. The yet-untitled film is rumoured to have Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez opposite his double role. Rohit is also planning on Golmaal 5 with Ajay Devgn.
