The year 2025 truly belonged to Sonam Bajwa as the Punjabi film industry’s superstar made her debut in Hindi films. In her first year in Bollywood itself, the actress was a part of three big films – Housefull 5, Baaghi 4 and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The latter turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year that set the cash registers ringing on Diwali. And now, she is set to carry that momentum ahead to the next year with a big release in the first month itself.
The teaser of Border 2 was released recently and Sonam will be seen in the war-drama opposite Diljit Dosanjh. This marks Sonam’s fourth Hindi film and the actress has collaborated with industry legends in all her Hindi outings, proving her star power. While 2025 ended on a high for her with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, 2026 promises to start on an even bigger note with Border 2.

Border 2 releases on the Republic Day weekend in January 2026 and stars Sonam Bajwa alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and Anya Singh.
