The Filmfare Middle East Restaurants’ Night 2025 held on 1st October 2025 at Atlantis, The Palm honored excellence in gastronomy with a glittering celebration of culinary brilliance. A spectacular event where gourmet met glamour, it was an evening that celebrated not just cuisine, but culture, creativity, and the culinary stars who elevate dining into an art form.
The Permit Room took home the honour as the Winner of the Favourite Indian Fusion Restaurant 2025 that was presented by Mr Prasad T – Head of Operations, Emirates Gulf Group
The Permit Room located in Majestic City Retreat, Al Mankhool, brings a fresh take on Indian dining with a unique blend of nostalgia and modernity. The interiors are inspired by old- world Parsi charm, featuring intimate living room to make every gathering feel personal and memorable. For the cooler months, Permit Room’s rooftop, V’Desi, is perfect for indulging in innovative Global Indian dishes and expertly crafted drinks under the stars at the outdoor space.
The design takes cue on the old British India era, through the colorful use of wood & rattan infused with pop-culture through retro hand- drawn posters, layered on the wall of the dining caverns. It is a fusion of vibrant colors, patterns & decor celebrating the richness of Indian Food and Culture. Indoor dining includes arched windows allowing guests to have a more intimate dining experience.
The menu is where Permit Room truly shines, offering a global and adventurous take on Indian classics. The menu consists of soups, small plates, grills, large plates, biryani, and desserts and has a bar menu. A few of Signature’s recipes includes that of Burrata Chaat, Egyptian style pizza, like Fattir, Pav Bhaji Focaccia, Ferrero Rocher Choco bar and so much more designed to surprise and delight your taste buds. From the flakiness of meat samosas to the whistles of pressure cooker curries, you could indulge in a variety of global Indian cuisine right here at the Permit Room!

the leadership of this first generation entrepreneur, Ms. Eti Bhasin. Carrying
forward her family business since 2018, she has demonstrated exceptional growth
with 6 F&B units and 3 hotels.

other than Chef Harangad Singh, a multi-award winning maestro in Indian
cuisine. With his expert touch, he transforms traditional dishes into innovative
