Yamuna Hasan’s inspirational TED Talk on Gen Z wows every generation!
Yamuna Hasan recently took to TED stage and turned it into a conversation Gen Z has been having for years, except that the room was packed with Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, Baby Boomers, and loads of heavy hitters from business, entertainment, and social media.
It was called “How Gen Z Is Changing The World,” a reality check that everyone low-key needed. Yamuna Hasan was personally invited and tapped by TED to lead her own talk as the organizers saw her as a powerful and fully talented voice of her generation.

Yamuna Hasan broke down how Gen Z actually thinks and communicates, why collaboration is no longer what it used to be given the constant digital stimuli that has inundated the sensibilities day in and day out. She challenged inherited life advice that blocks growth and asked the audience to question ideas they never chose for themselves, the kind of mindset shift Gen Z has been talking about online forever. Mental health was front and center, whilst freedom of expression was non-negotiable. Also, technology was regarded with utmost respect, as multinational companies now rely on the very tools Gen Z mastered first.
Yamuna Hasan held her own with the confidence of someone whose peers admire and look up to, bringing main-character energy that made Gen Z feel represented. Among Gen Z, her word is the authority. She speaks up, refuses to be muted by outdated norms, and still manages to dominate with relatable warmth and authenticity. That balance is precisely why she resonates with those who grew up online and truly understand the pace of her space.
Yamuna Hasan is a force to be reckoned with. She is a bestselling author of The Art of Miracles and the creative mastermind behind multiple online moments, including the insanely viral Saturday Night Live episode portrayed by Sabrina Carpenter, which garnered colossal, record-breaking views and engagements within minutes.
Publications took notice fast. Paper Magazine, Arabian Business, Gulf News, Khaleej Times, and Entrepreneur Magazine all ran in-depth features unpacking what makes Yamuna stand out and why she hits both the heart and mind at the same time. Then she closed 2025 by winning Entrepreneur Middle East’s Best Gen Z of the Year Award, turning 2025 into a breakout year that had all her millions of adoring followers eagerly anticipating her next bossed-up moves.
So as Yamuna Hasan controlled TED, it signalled a 2026 on steroids. She believes Gen Z has superpowers to change the world, and she shows exactly how to do it. Now, her legion of fans, a.k.a. the Yammys, are watching closely because they know she has a lot in store. It is only a matter of time until she unleashes them.
