What hits you first when you hear nautical? It’s always the summer and stripes. The nautical look is a  timeless marine spirit that we have brought to our wardrobes through garments and styles that is influenced by sailors. It is both chic as well as comfortable making it a to-go choice for summers. Here are few ways to include the sailor fashion to your outfits!

—Stripes
Breezy summer dresses or fitted tops, the stripes pattern spice up the nautical look. It complements the summer vibe with its classic display of marine life. Striped tops, swimsuits and skirts are most commonly spotted.

—Poplin Shirts
Sailor collar poplin shirts is trending this summer. The relaxed natural fabric with these over-sized collars available in plain colors are now climbing up the fashion ladder and easily becoming a favourite summer look when paired with light blue jeans.

—Rope flats
If clothing primarily takes the cake for a nautical outfit, these rope flat sandals are an add-on. Nautical rope knots are typically what make these slides or sandals a marine fashion.

— Marine Colors
There’s no fashion that we can associate with a nautical look if they are not the predominantly naval inspired colors, like navy blue and whites. These colors set the entire tone for the outfit, reminding us of aqua waters and yachts.

— Anchor Prints
Who said anchor prints are only for men’s fashion? These prints have come a long way in women’s clothing too. From anchor prints on T-shirts, scarves to flip-flops, they have nailed their existence in sailor fashion.
