Al Kharous celebrated yesterday the 54th Eid Al Etihad (Union Day) in vibrant national festivities filled with pride and belonging. The celebrations brought together residents and visitors from across the neighbourhood in an event that embodied the spirit of the Union and reflected the values of community cohesion and pride in Emirati heritage.
The celebration activities began at 4:00 p.m. with a national parade featuring the participation of government entities, schools, residents, and various community groups.

The parade started after the Asr prayer from in front of Al Sohba Al Salihah Mosque, in a scene that reflected the continuation of long-standing traditions in commemorating this cherished national occasion, expressing loyalty and belonging to the nation and its leadership.

Celebrations continued in Al Kharous Park, which witnessed a large turnout amid festive atmospheres marked by joy and vibrant community engagement. The activities included national, cultural, and heritage segments, along with artistic presentations and folkloric performances delivered by various groups, highlighting a distinctive national character to the event.

With the audience interacting enthusiastically with the various shows and activities, Al Kharous presented a joyful national scene for Eid Al Etihad which reaffirms the deep connection of the Emirati community to the values of the Union and highlights its pride in the nation’s journey and progress.
