While the industry grapples with a release date frenzy, Major aka Adivi Sesh chooses to wait and give his film the space it deserves!
Ever since the trailer of Adivi Sesh’s big Bollywood debut Major dropped, the audience has been waiting to see the gripping narrative unfold on screen. Whilst the trailer looked promising with Adivi in his finest form yet, it also instilled a sense of pride in every Indian. Major is based on the life and journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the deadly terror attacks of 26-11 in Mumbai, India.

Whilst the third wave of COVID 19 proved to be yet another dampener in terms of the film’s theatrical release, the theatres are now once again back on track. Along with this, a frenzy of release dates has started with every film rushing to release. However, Sesh insists that he’s not in any rush and says that Major should get the release it truly deserves, as a mark of respect to all the lives lost in the attacks. Now, one just has to wait for the release date of Major!
