The South star’s Pan India release Pushpa: Part 1 and the Bollywood star’s Laal Singh Chaddha will both release in Christmas 2021
Even as movie-lovers wait for the biggest releases to hit theatres, there’s one box office clash waiting to happen. Unlike two Bollywood biggies taking on each other, this time around it’s a clash between two heavyweights as South star Allu Arjun will clash with Bollywood star Aamir Khan this Christmas.
While Aamir had already locked the release date of his upcoming Forrest Gump remake Laal Singh Chaddha to be Christmas, the makers of Arjun’s Pushpa: Part 1 have recently announced the release of their film to be Christmas too. What makes it a clash is the fact that Pushpa is a Pan India release.
Revealing a new poster, Allu Arjun posted: “Pushpa – The Rise to release in five languages this Christmas.”
Aamir’s film is the official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump and also stars Kareena Kapoor khan. Meanwhile, directed by Sukumar, Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
